Vice President (VP) AI & Data Platforms
About the Role
Position: VP AI & Data Platforms Location: London, Victoria Team: International Vehicle Payments (IVP) Commercial Industry: Global Business Payments
At Corpay, we are seeking a senior leader to shape and scale AI capabilities within our Europe & Rest of the World fleet business unit. The ideal candidate will drive AI-driven growth, operational efficiency, and decision-making, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (IVP) and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Europe and the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will lead AI and data capabilities across multiple business domains, ensuring they deliver tangible business outcomes including:
- Increasing revenue growth
- Enhancing customer retention
- Optimising operational efficiency
- Empowering data-driven decision-making for senior leaders
This role demands a strategic thinker who can align technical investments with commercial priorities while nurturing a data-driven culture organisation-wide.
Role Responsibilities
Core Objectives
Lead AI & Data Strategy
- Define a clear, business-aligned AI and data strategy focused on growth, retention, and operations.
- Identify, prioritise, and execute high-impact AI initiatives with measurable ROI.
Deliver Business Impact
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects—from conceptualization and business case development to scaling and adoption.
- Ensure AI solutions are seamlessly integrated into business workflows, driving sustained impact.
Build & Scale Data Platforms
- Lead data science, machine learning, and data engineering teams to develop scalable, high-quality platforms.
- Champion data architecture best practices for reliability, performance, and interoperability.
Partner Across the Business
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Credit, Marketing, and Technology to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bridging technical and commercial teams.
Drive AI Adoption & Capability
- Champion practical AI usage across the organisation, fostering a productivity-focused, decision-making culture.
- Design and deliver training programs to upskill teams and build internal AI expertise.

Experience & Expertise
- Proven leadership in AI, data science, machine learning, or data platforms—building and scaling teams.
- Track record of delivering business-valued AI/ML initiatives against clear KPIs.
- Cross-industry experience in data architecture, analytics, and ML strategies with a focus on scalability.
- Hands-on experience operating in matrix-driven environments with diverse stakeholder management.
Business & Leadership Skills
- Strong commercial acumen—ability to link AI outcomes to business growth, efficiency, and retention.
- Senior-level stakeholder influence, ensuring AI projects align with broader organisational goals.
- Strategic yet execution-oriented mindset—bridges vision and delivery.
- History of leading end-to-end cross-functional initiatives, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
