About You
We’re seeking a seasoned Algo / SOR Developer based in London with industry-leading experience in building from scratch and benchmarking execution algorithms.

This role focuses on developing next-generation algorithmic trading infrastructure, collaborating with teams across product, trading, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop a low-latency, high-throughput EMS/Smart Order Router (SOR) system
- Implement intelligent routing logic based on:
- Execution quality
- Liquidity optimization
- Latency improvement
- Cost efficiency
- Collaborate with traders and product managers to evolve routing strategies and introduce new algorithmic capabilities
- Continuously monitor, optimize, and benchmark performance under real-world conditions
- Contribute to system resilience, business continuity, and security
- Provide production support for trading-related technical challenges
Qualifications
Essential
- 8+ years of experience in Java-based routing strategy development (e.g., FX markets, crypto exchanges)
- Proficiency in tick data analytics and real-time market data processing
- Familiarity with cloud-based market access or hybrid deployments
- Background in high-frequency / algorithmic trading environments
- In-depth experience with low-latency systems, including integration with multicast/unicast market data feeds
- Deep understanding of application and infrastructure stacks in electronic / algorithmic trading (OMS/EMS, market gateways).
- Strong grasp of concurrency, networking, and memory management
- Expertise with Linux systems and performance profiling tools
- Proactive, problem-solving mindset suited to a fast-paced, collaborative team culture
