Vice President - Customer Engagement & Communications Lead
Robert Walters are recruiting a VP, Customer Engagement & Communications Lead for a leading global financial institution undergoing a major digital transformation. This is a unique opportunity to build a communications function from the ground up, shaping engagement, change and culture across a growing technology organisation while partnering directly with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives.

About the Role
I'm currently partnering with a leading global financial institution to recruit a Vice President, Customer Engagement & Communications Lead into a growing Digital Engineering organisation.
This is far more than a traditional internal communications role. It's an opportunity to build an entirely new communications and engagement function, supporting a major technology transformation programme and helping shape the culture, identity and adoption of Digital Engineering across a global organisation.

Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll work at the heart of the leadership team, partnering with senior technology leaders, Product Owners and Corporate Communications to deliver a strategic communications function that drives engagement, positive change and business transformation.
The Opportunity
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll:
- Build and lead the Digital Engineering communications function from the ground up.
- Develop and execute the communications and engagement strategy for a 300-person technology organisation.
- Partner with Product Owners and senior technology leaders to support major digital transformation initiatives.
- Create compelling executive communications, presentations, town halls and leadership messaging.
- Shape the department's identity, communications framework and governance.
- Drive employee engagement, technology adoption and positive organisational change.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant experience leading communications or change within Technology or Digital Transformation.
- A proven track record of building or transforming communications functions.
- Experience operating within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
- Strong executive presence with the confidence to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding presentation, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
