Who is Sonar?

Sonar is driving the future of agent-centric software development. As the leader in AI code review and verification, we solve a critical problem: ensuring that software generated by AI-assisted developers or autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable.

Integrating seamlessly with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin, we help over 75% of the Fortune 100 build trusted, reliable, compliant software. Customers who use Sonar are 44% less likely to report an outage due to AI-generated code.

We believe code verification is the critical missing link in the Agent-Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Industry giants like Nvidia, Mastercard, NASA, Deutsche Bank, and Ford Motor Company count on us to provide independent, explainable, consistent review and governance of their AI-generated code via products like:

SonarQube: The world’s leading AI code review and verification platform. SonarQube Foundation Agent: Currently topping the leaderboards for agentic software repair. SonarSweep & Sonar Context Augmentation: Providing the enterprise-grade context and constraints agents need to be truly effective.

Our team operates across global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. We move with a mindset we call CODE:

Committed to our customers and community. Obsessed with quality. Deliberate in our decisions. Effective as one team.

With over $400M in revenue and profitable, fast-paced growth, we are building the backbone of the AI software revolution. If you’re hungry to have an impact, want to build at a fast pace, and ready to work at the forefront of AI, we want to hear from you.

Position description As the VP, Domain Leader, you will be the strategic architect of Sonar’s core product ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will oversee a high-performing organization of approximately 20 product professionals, including Group Product Managers (GPMs).

This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the heartbeat of our technical offering—the Sonar Platform and Code Orchestration layer—alongside our commercial engine, the Sonar Storefront (Billing, Permissions, Growth). You will also be the champion of the Developer Experience (DevEx), ensuring our UX, MCP, CLI, APIs, and integrations are world-class. You will work in a "power-couple" partnership with our VP of Engineering to deliver scalable, AI-driven solutions to a global B2B customer base.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You have a deep understanding of Platform infrastructure, APIs, and CLI tools, with the ability to translate these complex concepts into business value for an executive audience. Visionary Communication: Exceptional ability to influence and inspire. You can articulate a "big picture" vision to the C-level while remaining grounded in the technical realities of engineering. People First: A proven ability to recruit, mentor, and retain a multi-disciplinary team. You foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and high-velocity delivery.
