VP EMEA, Revenue

Senior Commercial Leader – VP, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa)

About the Role

Samba is a media intelligence company defining what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about—in real time and at scale, across every screen. Powered by consent-based data from over a billion people, our platform allows the world’s biggest brands to plan, activate, and measure media investments smarter than ever.

As VP, EMEA, your mission is to own, grow, and elevate Samba’s business across Europe, combining commercial leadership with cross-functional strategy. You’ll build a high-performing revenue team, secure landmark client partnerships, and solidify Samba’s position as the go-to platform for media intelligence, audience activation, and measurement—fundamentally reshaping how European brands engage with consumer behaviour.

This is a rare chance to build at all speeds. You’ll move at the pace of a mission-driven company, balancing bold vision with target-driven, data-driven execution.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Growth Leadership

  • Own the European P&L: Set ambitious, realistic revenue targets; develop hyper-accurate forecasts, and consistently deliver against high-growth goals through precision targeting and execution.
  • Press the commercial boundaries: Scaling Amsterdam’s operational excellence across EMEA markets while customising strategy for local dynamics.

Strategic Go-to-Market & Client Leadership

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Europe, including:
    • Pricing and packaging strategies tailored to regional markets.
    • Channel and partnership ecosystem expansion to unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Pursue marquee clients: Drive new logo acquisition across these key segments:
    • Brand advertisers
    • Media agencies (WPP, Publicis, IPG, Dentsu, Havas)
    • Broadcasters & platform partners
    • Select publishers and tech verticals.
  • Expand relationships: Deepen account adoption by positioning Samba holistically within clients’ business problems—from programmatic media buy direction to post-campaign outcomes measurement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Cultural leading: Foster Samba’s accountability culture continentally, from a high-growth London office through bustling hubs like Berlin or neighbourhood-name SG quick disposability.

  • Bridge capability gaps, ensuring Samba’s product roadmap aligns with EMEA’s needs across media measurement, audience data, and analytics.

Who You Are

Must-Have: Minimum 12 years’ commercial leadership

  • 5+ years in revenue management across European markets (selected offices of your region prep are welcome!)
  • Deep domain expertise in digital advertising or media measurement—pideo/TV⁄ streaming/press ecosystems, technically but universally sound:

  • Proven track record scaling Sales/RevOps from the ground up—hiring with dollars and potentially adopting a patronage (quota attainment).
  • Executive poise: Strong command for securing deals with CMO or CDO upstairs, clarifying Jana ad-hoc/surface control with data into agile sessions.
