VP FP&A
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP FP&A based in United Kingdom.
Lead the financial planning and analysis function for a global, high-growth technology business operating in a fully remote environment. In this executive leadership role, you will partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership to shape financial strategy, support long-term growth, and deliver data-driven insights that influence key business decisions. You will oversee forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, performance reporting, and capital planning while helping optimize financial operations across international markets. This position offers significant exposure to executive stakeholders, strategic initiatives, and M&A activities, making it an excellent opportunity for a finance leader who thrives in fast-paced, private equity-backed organizations and enjoys building high-performing teams.
Accountabilities
- Lead the global Financial Planning & Analysis function, providing strategic financial guidance across business units and international operations.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning processes to support sustainable business growth.
- Deliver detailed financial analysis, scenario planning, KPI reporting, and business performance insights to executive leadership.
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership on strategic planning, capital allocation, investment decisions, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Build strong relationships with investors and key stakeholders by preparing executive reports, board presentations, and financial updates.
- Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting, planning processes, analytics, and operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Support organizational decision-making by identifying financial risks, opportunities, and initiatives that enhance long-term value creation.

Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, including a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership positions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience within high-growth global software, technology, fintech, SaaS, or payments organizations.
- Strong background working in private equity-backed businesses with experience collaborating directly with investors and executive leadership.
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience delivering insights to executive teams, boards of directors, and investors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead distributed finance teams and develop high-performing professionals in remote environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative leadership style with exceptional stakeholder management, organizational skills, and ownership mindset.
