Vice President, Global Accounts - Europe

Sales · Full-Time · United Kingdom

Build your future with Sovos.

If you're seeking a career where innovation meets impact, you've come to the right place. As a global leader, Sovos is transforming tax compliance from a business requirement to a force for growth while revolutionizing how businesses navigate the ever-changing regulatory landscape.

At Sovos, we're dedicated to more than just solving compliance challenges -- we're committed to making a positive and lasting difference in everything we do. Our teams operate on the modern edge of digital technology, working not only to solve complex business challenges but also to enrich our personal, professional, and local communities.

Our purpose-built systems provide the tools you need to thrive in a world where governments demand increased visibility, faster reporting and greater control over business processes. Excited about the possibilities? So are we!

Don't worry if you don't check all the boxes -- apply anyway! We're focused on hiring the right people, not just the "right" resume. It's not about what you've done elsewhere; it's all about what you're capable of doing here.

The Role

At Sovos, we're redefining what tax compliance looks like for the world's largest companies — half the Fortune 500 and over 100,000 customers globally. We're looking for a VP to lead our Global Account Sales team in Europe. This is not a manage-from-a-distance role: you'll be in the field, in the deal, coaching elite Global Account Executives selling into CFOs and C-suites at the world's largest multinationals. Don't worry if you don't check all the boxes — apply anyway! We're focused on hiring the right people, not just the "right" resume. It's not about what you've done elsewhere; it's all about what you're capable of doing here.

More Specifically, You Will

  • Lead a team of senior Global Account Executives selling into large, globally operating multinationals - organisations with cross-border compliance needs that span multiple tax regimes, business units, and stakeholder groups.
  • Own the number: build pipeline, drive forecast discipline, and push your team to hit ambitious NNARR and TCV targets across a global account portfolio.
  • Be in the deal - you're on calls, in rooms, coaching in real time, stepping into executive-level conversations when it counts, and leveraging AI tools to improve deal velocity and insight generation.
  • Drive sales process rigour (MEDDICC or equivalent) and hold a team of elite sellers to a high standard, coaching them to continuously elevate their game.
  • Sell to the C-suite yourself - CFOs, CIOs, CPOs at globally operating companies — and frame complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance value propositions in ways that resonate at the executive level.
  • Navigate global deal complexity across multiple geographies, business units, and stakeholder groups, helping your team manage long, multi-threaded pursuits without losing momentum.
  • Partner across the business - solutions engineering, product, alliances, professional services - orchestrating internal resources to support deals at global scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales, with a strong track record as both an individual contributor and a sales leader - you've carried a bag and led teams that did.
  • Experience managing senior, top-tier enterprise sellers (not early-career reps) - you know how to lead people who are as capable as you are.
  • Proven C-suite selling motion with a history of building executive relationships that drove multi-year, seven-figure deals at large global accounts.
  • Deep comfort with complex back-end SaaS products (compliance, ERP, financial systems, or similar) - you don't need to be an engineer, but you earn credibility with sophisticated buyers.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and leveraging AI tools to drive decision-making, forecasting, and sales effectiveness across the team.
  • Executive presence without the ego - you show up sharp, credible, and ready to do the work; European market experience strongly preferred, multi-lingual is a plus.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
