VP, Global Claims Transformation Initiative Lead

Job Description
The VP, Claims Transformation Initiative Lead will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of high-priority strategic initiatives within Chubb's Global Claims Transformation team. Reporting to the Global Claims Transformation Officer, this role is purpose-built for someone who can take a capability from concept to execution across a complex, multicultural environment spanning Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
This leader will own a transformational program end-to-end, driving it from strategy and design through implementation and adoption. They will serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, technology partners, and international claims operations, ensuring solutions are grounded in Chubb’s operating realities and deliver tangible outcomes for employees and customers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end strategy, design, and build-out of a defined transformation initiative within Global Claims
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with claims operations and strategic objectives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering) to deliver automation projects on time and within scope, adapting to the regulatory and operational variation across international markets
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for the domain’s initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive communications/status reports
- Drive change management and adoption of new tools and workflows, championing an employee-centered approach to technology rollout across Claims
- Analyze process performance, identify opportunities for further automation, and implement continuous improvements
- Stay current on industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management, and identify opportunities for innovation

Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in process engineering, operations, or project management, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in an agile environment
- Outstanding communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa
- Experience with claims operations is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) a plus
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision maker
- Initiative-taking, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity
- Collaborative, inclusive, and able to drive consensus across diverse teams
