VP, Head of Procurement

Role Overview:
The VP, Head of Procurement is responsible for developing and executing the organization’s global procurement strategy to ensure cost efficiency, quality, compliance, and sustainability across all sourcing activities. This role oversees supplier relationships, negotiates major contracts, and drives innovation in procurement processes to support business objectives.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement a global procurement strategy aligned with IPC’s Objectives and Goals. In particular focusing on SaaS
- Drive cost optimization, risk management, and supplier performance improvement.
- Establish procurement policies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
Supplier & Contract Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Negotiate high-value contracts ensuring favourable terms and risk mitigation.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.

Operational Excellence
- Lead procurement transformation initiatives, including digital tools and automation, with particular focus on AI innovation.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Oversee category management and spend analysis to identify savings opportunities.
- Review of offshoring spend
Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical sourcing practices.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions and geopolitical risks in partnership with IPC’s Risk team.
Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a high-performing procurement team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in global sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement technologies and digital transformation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-country procurement operations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainable procurement practices.
- Previous roles within a SaaS based company

Additional Information:
