Summary

The VP, HR Technology oversees the management, integration, and optimization of HR systems and data operations to align with the organization’s strategic goals. This role demands expertise in system architecture, data governance, and analytics—focusing on digital transformation (e.g., transition from UKG Pro to Oracle HCM), process optimization, seamless data integration, and using technology to drive actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

The VP, HR Technology will:

  • System Leadership

    • Oversee the HR tech stack (including UKG, Oracle HCM, Greenhouse, Payscale) and integrations with external partners.
    • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable HR systems.
  • Data & Governance

    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across platforms.
    • Develop security and compliance policies, including data governance frameworks.
    • Drive risk control measures for HR data (e.g., privacy, protection standards).
  • Analytics & ROI

    • Create data-driven HR dashboards, reports, and visualizations (using tools like Power BI/Tableau).
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis.
    • Lead HR Transformation Program initiatives for platform migration and adoption.

  • Team & Stakeholder Coordination

    • Directly manage a team of 2+, including training/mentoring.
    • Oversee third-party UKG support and vendor relationships.
    • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical & Operational Management

    • Manage system upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
    • Ensure seamless integration between HR systems and business tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Hands-on UKG Pro expertise (including migration to Oracle HCM).
    • Experience with system integration (APIs, middleware, configuration tools).
    • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel/SQL).
    • Understanding of data governance frameworks, compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX), and risk control.
  • Soft Skills & Leadership:

    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
    • Ability to prioritise multiple high-impact projects with tight deadlines.
    • Collaborative approach: bridging HR operations with IT teams.

Qualifications & Background

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). ✔ Experience: Minimum 10 years in system architecture, data analysis, HR technology, or related fields.
