Our client is a leading global growth equity investment platform, specialising in founder-led and management-owned technology businesses. The firm has raised several billion dollars across multiple funds and invested in over 100 companies globally, with a focus on:
- High-quality B2B software and technology-enabled services
- Vertical SaaS, enterprise technology, and fintech sectors
- Profitability and scalability in later-stage businesses
The London team, a key European investment hub, is expanding. This role offers the chance to join a well-capitalised, sector-focused platform with an international brand and deep expertise in growing profitable tech companies.
The Role
Seeking a Vice President to join the London investment team, specialising in vertical SaaS and B2B software. The VP will play a pivotal role across the full investment lifecycle, including:
- Thematic sourcing & market mapping
- Company evaluation & transaction execution
- Investment committee preparation
- Portfolio growth strategy and operational support

Core Responsibilities:
- Build and test investment theses across vertical SaaS markets, including:
- Healthcare software, compliance software, legal tech
- Construction tech, logistics software, field services software
- Payments-led vertical platforms and other industry-specific B2B software markets
- Identify and assess high-growth private B2B SaaS businesses via:
- Thematic research, market mapping, founder and advisor relationships
- Lead deal analysis, including:
- Business model quality, market size, competitive positioning, and SaaS metrics
- Unit economics, growth strategies, and valuation frameworks
- Develop financial models, returns analysis, downside scenarios, and investment committee presentations
- Support due diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and tech/management validation
- Work alongside portfolio companies to enhance:
- Growth strategies, pricing, internationalization, M&A integration, and senior hiring
- Act as the firm’s external representative engaging with:
- Founders, CEOs, CFOs, and technology ecosystem advisors
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 6–9 years of expertise in:
- Growth equity, tech PE, later-stage VC, technology investment banking, or software-focused strategy consulting
- Deep understanding of B2B software including:
- Recurring revenue models, SaaS KPIs, customer retention, and go-to-market (GTM) dynamics

Must-Have Competencies
- Strong analytical, modelling, and valuation expertise
- Experience evaluating software or technology-enabled businesses
- Ability to assess key SaaS metrics such as:
- Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), net revenue retention, churn, CAC payback, LTV/CAC, and sales efficiency
- Commercial acumen to build independent investment theses
- Founder-enterprising confidence in engaging 1:1 with CEOs, CFOs, and senior advisors
- Investment committee-read written communication & presentation skills
Ideal Traits
- Collaborative, intellectually curious, and low-ego working style
- Polyglot-friendly though European language skills not required
