VP of AI Transformation - London, UK
We are partnered with a fast-scaling deep-tech company building advanced robotic and automation systems. As the business scales globally, it's embedding AI into the core of how it operates; across engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, compliance, and executive decision-making.
About the Role
A newly established, high-profile leadership position sitting close to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, tasked with shaping and delivering the organisation's company-wide AI transformation agenda. You'll define the vision, operating model, and governance framework required to embed AI across every function, while leading a cross-functional group of AI Leads and steering the business towards becoming a truly AI-native organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, define and shape the company's AI strategy and roadmap, and establishing the governance frameworks (ethics, security, data, compliance) needed for responsible deployment
- Own the operating model for continuous, AI-led improvement — spotting, prioritising, and scaling high-value use cases across the business
- Lead adoption and change management, building AI literacy, champion networks, and a culture where AI enhances the way people work
- Set success metrics and report on ROI, adoption, and performance to the Executive Leadership Team and Board
- Align and guide AI Leads and stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Compliance, and Cybersecurity
- Monitor emerging AI technologies and build relationships with vendors, research institutions, and industry partners to keep the business ahead of the curve

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
