We’re hiring a VP of Data Engineering & Analytics to rebuild and scale a data function from the ground up within a high-growth consumer business in Dubai.
This isn’t a traditional reporting or BI leadership role. Data is the core product. We have a unique, highly valuable dataset in our industry and are looking for a leader to build a world-class data platform, actionable intelligence, and commercial growth. You’ll inherit an existing team and be responsible for scaling it, maturing the platform, improving data quality and governance, and helping the business unlock new revenue opportunities through data-driven decision making.
We’re looking for someone who combines deep technical credibility with commercial thinking. Someone who can still roll up their sleeves when needed, has built data teams from the ground up, and understands how to move from startup chaos to scalable execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
