At Dexory, we are building advanced, software-led robotics solutions that are redefining global logistics. Our multidisciplinary teams—spanning hardware, manufacturing, software, AI, and commercial—operate with pace, precision, and shared purpose. We are united by a collective ambition to deliver meaningful impact at scale.

We value ideas over hierarchy and execution over intent. We are builders, operators, and innovators committed to shaping the future of our industry.

This is a rare opportunity to join a company at a pivotal stage of growth and transformation. We are seeking a commercially astute, strategically minded VP of People with a proven track record of scaling People functions in high-growth, complex environments. With over a decade of progressive People leadership experience, you will operate as a true enterprise-level People leader—equally comfortable setting global strategy and driving operational excellence.

You will bring deep experience in building and evolving People functions from first principles, navigating ambiguity, and enabling international expansion across multiple jurisdictions. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping organisational capability, culture, and long-term business performance.

This role requires a minimum of three days per week onsite at our Wallingford location. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive organisation. We encourage applications from individuals who may not meet every listed requirement but bring the mindset, potential, and values aligned to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise People Strategy & Executive Partnership

  • Define and execute a global People strategy aligned with Dexory’s growth trajectory and business objectives.
  • Partner with the executive team to shape organisational design, workforce planning, and long-term talent strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, culture, and performance.
  • Build scalable People infrastructure to enable sustainable, international growth.

Operational Excellence & Governance

  • Lead end-to-end global HR operations, ensuring best-in-class delivery across the employee lifecycle.
  • Establish robust governance frameworks, policies, and systems to support scale and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to UK and international employment legislation and regulatory standards.
  • Optimise HR technology, data analytics, and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
