VP of Product | InsurTech | Up to £200k

London hybrid, 3 days a week onsite

Full package £150k- £200k + equity

An Insure-Tech startup are looking for a VP of Product to join their team!

They’re using a smart algorithm to rethink how people secure full coverage across major insurance needs—and they’re at an exciting inflection point with real traction and revenue.

You'd be coming on board to:

  • Shape the future of a category-defining business – Partner directly with the CEO/Founder as part of the senior leadership team, owning product strategy and helping define the next stage of growth for a fast-scaling InsurTech.
  • Solve genuinely complex customer problems – Build products that transform how brokers and insurers work by combining product, data and operational thinking to tackle real-world workflows, not just ship features.
  • Lead with influence, not hierarchy – Drive product direction across Engineering, Operations and Commercial, building alignment and making high-impact decisions in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Build and scale the product organisation – Inherit an existing Product Manager, hire and develop your own team, and create the product function as the company scales from startup foundations into its next phase of growth.
  • Own outcomes in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment – Join a business where judgement, commercial thinking and execution matter most, with the freedom to get hands-on, move quickly and make a visible impact from day one.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Strong product craft, but commercially grounded: someone who understands discovery, prioritisation and delivery, but is also close to revenue, customers and adoption.
  • Experience in a high-performance product environment
  • Ability to solve customer pain through data, workflow and operations, not just engineering
  • Evidence of building in ambiguity: someone who has worked before PMF was fully obvious, or who has had to reshape product direction based on customer evidence rather than just optimise an existing machine
  • Experience in a complex or regulated domain
