About the Role
We are looking for a senior Product Data leader to define and drive the product data strategy across a portfolio of SaaS products. This role will be responsible for:
- Establishing telemetry standards
- Building scalable event-driven data architectures
- Creating governed data products
- Enabling data-driven decision-making across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership teams
You will:
- Lead the design of product instrumentation frameworks
- Develop shared data models
- Ensure product usage, engagement, and outcome metrics are trustworthy, scalable, and actionable
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to build a strong foundation for analytics, reporting, and customer-facing insights

- Define and own the product data strategy across multiple products
- Lead the design and implementation of telemetry and event-tracking architecture
- Establish instrumentation standards, event schemas, naming conventions, and governance practices
- Build and maintain scalable product data products, datasets, and KPI frameworks
- Develop shared data models for usage, engagement, and outcome measurement
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align measurement frameworks with business objectives
- Deliver dashboards, insights, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Evaluate and implement appropriate analytics and data platform technologies
- Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained
- Build and mentor a high-performing Product Data team

Required Experience
- Experience in Product Data, Product Analytics, Analytics Engineering, or related leadership roles
- Strong experience in designing telemetry architectures and product instrumentation frameworks
- Experience in building and managing event-driven data pipelines
- Proven track record partnering with Product and Engineering teams to define metrics and measurement strategies
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience in creating reusable data assets, analytics solutions, and governed reporting frameworks
- Leadership experience managing or mentoring technical teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
