VP of Sales - United Kingdom
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Sales based in United Kingdom.
This executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape commercial strategy and drive business growth across Western Europe within a highly innovative healthcare technology environment. You will lead regional sales operations, develop high-performing commercial teams, and build strategic relationships with leading healthcare providers and industry stakeholders. Working cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, service, and patient access teams, you will be responsible for delivering sustainable revenue growth while strengthening market presence. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a strong track record in medical technology or healthcare who thrives in a mission-driven, fast-paced, and collaborative international environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue, market share, and growth objectives across Western Europe.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with marketing, service, clinical support, and patient access teams to align commercial initiatives and maximize customer success.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, opportunity management, and reporting through Salesforce.
- Drive strategic account development by expanding relationships with major healthcare systems, hospitals, academic institutions, and key opinion leaders.
- Lead complex negotiations and oversee pricing strategies, contract discussions, and long-term commercial partnerships.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends to refine sales strategies and strengthen market positioning.
- Leverage clinical evidence and value-based selling approaches to differentiate products and support customer decision-making.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle, including coordination with service teams during implementation and post-sale activities.
- Manage regional operating plans, sales performance metrics, win/loss analysis, and business reviews while delivering sustainable commercial success.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced business qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience managing large territories or regions with significant revenue responsibility.
- Proven experience within the radiation oncology, medical device, healthcare technology, or broader healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success leading regional commercial strategies, developing high-performing sales organizations, and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
- Strong expertise in executive-level selling, complex negotiations, strategic account management, and multi-year partnership development.
- Experience managing sales forecasting, pipeline development, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and commercial performance reporting.
- Established relationships with hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians, and senior healthcare decision-makers are highly valued.
- Excellent financial, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to mentor and motivate diverse teams while managing multiple strategic priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across the region.
- Authorization to work permanently in the country of employment without sponsorship.
