The Opportunity

At Warner Music Group’s WMX division (a market-leading music-commerce, merchandise, and physical products brand), we’re seeking a VP, Sales and Operations based in London to drive growth, efficiency, and excellence across EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).

This strategic leadership role bridges global commerce, supply chain, and artist brand strategy, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and creative NPS across EMEA’s diverse markets and channels.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the anchor between WMG EMEA, regional teams, and WMX global leadership, aligning operational and commercial goals.
  • Partner closely with the President of EMEA and WMX Leadership for cross-pollination of innovation, ensuring systems alignment.

P&L Management & Growth

  • Define and drive market-specific financial targets for ecommerce, merchandise, and physical music across EMEA.
  • Optimize margins and OIBDA performance through data-driven strategies, ensuring profitability and scale where it matters most.
  • Identify and execute revenue growth opportunities across all WMX channels within EMEA.

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Design and scale end-to-end fulfillment networks, balancing D2C delivery efficiency and retail distribution logistics.

Artist Integration & Operations

  • Oversee artist services operations, collaborating with A&R, marketing, retail, and label teams for seamless campaign execution.
  • Advocate for artist-first values in every decision.

Partnerships & Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with WMG EMEA leaders, third-party vendors, and external stakeholders.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and empower local WMX teams, fostering accountability and creativity with a pragmatic, commercial mindset.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Bridge EMEA ops and global technology teams, defining system integration requirements and localization strategies.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze sales, margin, and fulfillment data to improve efficiency, optimize experiences for global fans.

Cross-Functional Alignments

  • Work closely with listing, commerce, marketing (WCMP), tax, and publishing teams to align global programs and objectives.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with a focus on cross-channel P&L growth in the music, retail, or consumer goods industry (labels, publishers, digital platforms included).
  • Proven track record of Health Sales Scale S/WO-L at the highest levels operationally and strategically.
  • Expertise in multi-national enterprise scaled applications, particularly spotlights on Asia, Euro, and North American joints/supply chains.
  • Fluency in English plus German or French (both spoken and written).
  • Tangible experience in:
    • Tour merchandise commercialization and large-scale event logistics across multiple markets.
    • Cross-border launches and multi-territory stakeholder management.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams across cultures, time zones, and organizational levels.
  • Passion for music industry + artist brands, with a drive for global fan engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with multi-currency, multi-language e-commerce platforms and international payment systems.
  • Knowledge of sustainability in apparel/goods sourcing and production.
  • Senior-level degree in business, supply chain, economics (or related fields)—highly regarded.
