VP Operations - EMEA
VP Operations - EMEA (Critical Power Solutions)
Location: Flexible (EMEA power facilities – UK, Ireland, Poland, Austria)

We’re seeking an experienced VP of Operations – EMEA to lead strategic operations for our Critical Power division. In this role, you’ll drive operational excellence across engineering, procurement, production, project execution, quality, and customer delivery while fostering scalable processes and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Oversee operations from performance management to growth strategy, translating business goals into actionable operational plans
- Ensure alignment between customer needs, demand, and capacity, driving efficient delivery of complex, customised electrical infrastructure for critical environments
- Develop and implement business plans, leveraging metrics, governance, and performance discipline to meet targets
Project & Customer Excellence
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic customers, hyperscale/data center clients, suppliers, and industry experts
- Provide a deep commitment to market expectations, competitive positioning, and high customer delivery standards
- Champion proactive communication, credible recovery planning, and executive responsiveness on high-priority projects
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Scalability
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, Finance, and QA to deliver end-to-end operational excellence
- Align procurement, production, engineering, and project execution for engineered-to-order variability, design control, and materials readiness
- Optimise inventory, planning, capacity, and long-lead material management to ensure on-time deliveries
- Implement lean methodologies, digital tools, and automation to reduce cycle times while upholding customer-specific specifications

Leadership & Development
- Mentor senior operations leaders, fostering accountability, outcome-driven performance, and a fast-growth collaboration culture
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, change control, and lessons learned
- Encourage a culture of innovation, sustainability, and compliance vis-à-vis health, safety, and regulatory standards
Key Accountability Areas
- Safety, quality, delivery, compliance, cost management, cash flow, and project margin
- Capacity planning, order intake readiness, design-for-manufacture, non-conformance reduction, and risk mitigation
Key Requirements
Education & Expertise
- MBA or Master’s in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 10+ years in manufacturing/operations, with 7+ years in leadership
- Deep experience in Project-led, Engineer-to-Order, and high-consequence delivery in electrical or mission-critical environments
Functional & Technical Skills
- Strong impairment in operations, supply chain, project management, quality, and commercial disciplines
- Understanding of configuration management, change control, Deutsch-standardisation, and cost control
- Proven experience applying operational data to drive accountability and improve P&L performance
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strong people management abilities with a focus on team development and succession planning
- Customer-centric mindset ensuring alignment with technical specifications, long-lead materials, and high-consequence delivery expectations
