A global investment bank is hiring a C++ Algo Trading Engineers / Strategists (VP/AVP) to join a global Cash Equities Algo Execution team.

You will work on the design, development and optimisation of trading algorithms across Best Execution, Smart Order Routing, market data, order execution and risk systems. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on low-latency, high-throughput trading applications with direct impact on the business.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and optimise trading algorithms for Cash Equities execution
  • Build and enhance low-latency, high-performance trading systems
  • Work closely with developers, quants and business stakeholders
  • Analyse trading system issues and identify opportunities for algorithmic improvement
  • Contribute to core trading framework development, testing, scalability and reliability

What you'll bring:

  • Strong C++ engineering experience
  • Experience in electronic trading, algo execution, market data or order execution systems
  • Strong understanding of low-latency / high-throughput systems
  • TCP/IP, UDP or multicast networking experience
  • Smart Order Routing, Best Execution or risk system exposure
  • Hands on with Linux, Python or scripting capabilities
  • Automated testing / performance testing experience
  • Experience working in a global trading technology environment
