Position: Vulnerability Analyst
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30 - $90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive penetration tests and simulated attacks on networks, applications, and systems to uncover vulnerabilities.
- Perform thorough vulnerability assessments, analyze findings, and prioritize risks based on impact and exploitability.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define testing scopes and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Document detailed findings and communicate technical reports to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop actionable remediation strategies and provide expert guidance to teams for implementation.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging threats, attack vectors, and security best practices.

Requirements
- Have demonstrated expertise in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Possess strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and industry-standard tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
- Have a proven ability to deliver clear, concise, and actionable written and verbal communication.
- Have a solid understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
- Candidates with experience conducting social engineering and physical security assessments will be preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are highly desirable.
