About the Role
While primarily remote, this role requires occasional visits to the Bristol office or London.
Intermedia’s Security Team is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst to support and advance our enterprise Vulnerability Management program.

The Vulnerability Analyst will:
- Monitor threat intelligence sources for emerging vulnerabilities and active exploitation
- Coordinate remediation efforts with technical teams
- Maintain visibility into remediation progress against established SLAs
This position requires:
- Strong analytical skills
- Technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments
- Ability to clearly communicate security risk to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Core Duties
- Manage and maintain vulnerability scanning operations across:
- Enterprise infrastructure
- Cloud environments
- Operating systems
- Applications
- Externally exposed services
- Monitor threat intelligence feeds and security research to escalate critical threats
- Develop practical remediation and mitigation plans with infrastructure, operations, engineering, and application teams
- Track remediation progress against SLAs and follow up on overdue items
- Maintain a steady state for tools and automation workflows, including:
- Vulnerability management platform
- Scanner infrastructure
- Cloud integrations
- Asset inventory integrations
- Document vulnerability management policies, standards, and procedures adhering to security best practices
- Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams during investigations, threat analysis, and remediation efforts
- Identify unmanaged, unsupported, or non-compliant systems through inventory analysis and vulnerability assessment
- Support audit, compliance, and governance activities

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Vulnerability Management and associated processes
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience with Qualys for scanning:
- Servers
- Desktops
- Cloud workloads
- Network devices
- Strong foundational knowledge of information security and general systems/networking fundamentals
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with:
- OWASP Top 10
- CVE and CVSS concepts
- Emerging threat intelligence
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong resourcefulness, teamwork, ownership, and priority management
- Cloud platform and systems knowledge; Python/PowerShell experience is a plus
