Vulnerability Management Manager


Are you an experienced cyber security professional with a passion for identifying and mitigating security risks? We're looking for a Vulnerability Management Manager to lead vulnerability management activities within a complex, highly regulated environment.

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the vulnerability management programme, leading security assessments and penetration testing, coordinating remediations across IT and engineering teams, and helping to strengthen the organisation's overall cyber security posture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading vulnerability assessments across systems, applications, and network infrastructure
  • Prioritising vulnerabilities based on business risk and potential impact
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive timely remediation
  • Producing clear reporting on vulnerabilities, risk, and remediation progress
  • Staying ahead of emerging threats to continuously improve the vulnerability management programme
  • Supporting regulatory compliance and security audits

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • 5–7+ years' experience in vulnerability management, ideally within financial services or another regulated industry
  • Strong expertise in vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Tenable, or Rapid7
  • A solid understanding of network and application security
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP (highly desirable)
