Vulnerability Researcher Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Vulnerability Researcher has arisen with an innovative R&D consultancy developing cutting-edge technologies for the UK defence and national security sector, based near Cambridge.

As a Vulnerability Researcher, you will work on advanced vulnerability research across software and hardware systems, developing proof-of-concept demonstrators and innovative cyber defence solutions for complex, real-world challenges. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, physicists, mathematicians, and computer scientists, applying low-level software knowledge and creative problem-solving to protect critical technologies against emerging threats.

This is an onsite role, requiring you onsite 5 days a week.

Experience Of The Vulnerability Researcher Will Include

  • A degree from a STEM subject, e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics
  • Applied experience in software/hardware vulnerability research
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++ or Python
  • Knowledge of the full software stack and how it interacts with hardware
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts
  • Desired: Experience working within the UK defence or security sector
