Waiter – Rondo
Waiter – Rondo, The Hoxton, Holborn
About The Team
We are looking for a Waiter to join the Rondo team at The Hoxton, Holborn.
The Hoxton, Holborn was the second building acquired by the Hoxton brand, reviving a Grade II-listed former George Kent factory—famous for innovations like a knife sharpener/cleaner, now housed in the Science Museum.
Once BT’s telephone exchange, this historic site now houses 220 bedrooms, the Apartment hotel, and this foodie hotspot, Rondo. Situated near London’s vibrant Holborn district—beautifully balancing shopping, culture, and dining—Rondo focuses on:
- Seasonal British dining
- Unsung ingredients
- Impeccable service
Headlined by Chef Tristan Downes, Rondo is dedicated to creating exceptional neighbourhood experiences. It’s the kind of place you’d want to call "local."
Job Description: What You’ll Do
As our Waiter, you’ll be:
- The guest experience orchestrator—from their arrival to departure, ensuring every moment leaves them smiling.
- The brand ambassador—you’ll tell the story of Rondo, reflecting its personality, inclusivity, and service culture, with a touch of your own charm.
Simply put: You’re the glue connecting passion, local produce, and exceptional welcome.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
