About the Role
At Soho House, a Waiter plays an essential role in delivering refined, attentive, and personalised service to our members and guests. Working closely with the floor and kitchen teams, you are responsible for ensuring a smooth dining experience while reflecting the Club’s standards of professionalism, discretion, and excellence.
Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from:
- Initial greeting
- Taking orders
- Making recommendations
- Paying off the bill

Key Duties
- Warmly greet members, introduce menus, and ensure immediate engagement upon seating.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating allergies or dietary needs.
- Deliver seamless service by coordinating with kitchen and bar staff for:
- Timely order delivery
- Correct order completion
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations, including food and drink pairings.
- Maintain exceptional table service, such as:
- Proactive servicing (topping up water, wine, and beverages)
- Ensure a pristine environment, including:
- Setting up and resetting tables
- Maintaining cleanliness at all times
- Handle member requests and special accommodations:
- Flexibility to create memorable, personalised experiences
- Facilitate seamless payments through:
- Card payments
- The Soho House App
- House Pay
- Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially when serving:
- VIPs
- PWKs (Private Members and Key Staff)
- Contribute to team success by:
- Attending briefings and tastings
- Assisting colleagues and teammates
- Collaborating effectively

Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar high-end dining environment.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume settings while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- Quick and effective problem-solving under pressure
- Must possess:
- Strong hospitality skills
- Approachability and friendliness
- A passion for customer service
- Respect for colleagues and guests
- Competency demonstrated within the:
- Training schedule
- Club School
- Willingness to work:

Pay Range
- Salary (UK location): £15.50—£15.50 GBP
The pay range for other geographic locations may vary based on regional market differences.
