The primary duty of a waiter is to ensure that customers have an enjoyable dining experience by providing prompt and friendly service. This includes taking customer orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring that tables are clean and tidy.

In addition to strong communication and customer service skills, waiters should have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, good memory and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
