Waiter / Waitress – Malmaison, York
Role Type: Permanent Hours: 30 hours (up to £13.80/hour including TRONC) Rate for Under 18s: £10.85/hour

About the Role
As a Waiter/Waitress at Malmaison, you’ll be the face of the restaurant—driving a seamless, memorable dining experience for our guests.
- Help manage the restaurant’s flow and communication with the kitchen and management
- Contribute to ensuring smooth operations, even across seven days a week, 365 days a year
Shifts cover a range of days, with busier periods typically in the evenings and weekends. Flexibility is a key aspect—shift patterns and contracted hours can be tailored at interview.

- Act as the host to guests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional from start to finish
- Handle reservations, seating, and waitlisted guests efficiently
- Take orders, deliver food, and maintain a high standard of service
- Collaborate with kitchen teams to ensure timely table service
- Balance workloads, anticipate needs, and coordinate with management as required
