Waiter/Waitress
Boringdon Hall Hotel is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a stunning 16th-century manor house, home to our Michelin Star restaurant, Àclèaf, and situated on the edge of Dartmoor.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with the utmost hospitality and care, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally in accordance with company policies.
- Work in line with company policies and manuals.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets.
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the absence of the Restaurant Managers & Supervisor.
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in the training manual.
- Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting five-star standards.
- Keep up-to-date with current promotions and new products.
- Inform guests about offers on food and drink.
- Assist in setting up functions and events in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain exemplary billing systems, obtain all payments from customers in accordance with company policy, and ensure accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food, and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Foster good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
- Perform other duties as required.

Starting rate: £12.75 per hour. On successful completion of probation, the rate increases to £13.25 per hour, plus £50 in hotel vouchers.
