Waiter/Waitress
The role is based in a 5-star, 16th-century manor house, home to the Michelin Star restaurant Àclèaf and situated on the edge of Dartmoor.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated with the utmost hospitality and care, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Minimize and professionally handle all complaints in accordance with company policies.
- Work in line with company policies and manuals.
- Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximize sales performance and achieve targets.
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the absence of the Restaurant Managers & Supervisor.
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in the training manual.
- Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting five-star standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current promotions and new products.
- Make guests aware of offers on food and drink.
- Assist in function or event setups in accordance with procedures.
- Maintain exemplary billing systems, obtain all payments from customers, and accurately account for and process all reception sales.
- Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, and food and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
- Perform all other duties as required.
