Waiter/Waitress – Zero Hour Contract £14.00 per hour KYN Hurlingham, Daisy Lane, London SW6 3DD About KYN KYN is a brand-new care home company focused on offering an elevated approach to care: Individualised journeys built around the needs and interests of our residents in beautiful surroundings with life-enriching practices. KYN HURLINGHAM is our second home which opened in 2024. It’s a 32-bedroom home offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal areas for dining and reclining. We have a further two care homes in development in London. We are passionate about our people; we seek out those who have a true vocation for care or hospitality. About the opportunity As a BANK Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for: Supporting the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and consistently delivering an exceptional catering experience for our residents and their families Providing room service, restaurant, and bar service to our residents and guests in line with KYN’s exceptional standards including preparing meal trays, delivering refreshments, and removing trays following meals Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and best practices are always maintained and that health and safety, compliance and procedures are adhered to Ensuring that residents’ and relatives’ dietary requirements are catered for Reporting any complaints to the Head Chef/Hospitality Manager at the earliest convenience Ensuring that all rules and regulations concerning serving food and beverages are strictly complied with Creating a nurturing environment where our residents and their family members feel loved, happy, safe, and secure Ensuring that all alcohol is served responsibly and to adhere to the terms of the premises licence About you You will have experience of working within a similar hospitality venue You will be a professional, who understands the importance of delivering and maintaining high standards – keeping a safe, clean, and compliant environment You will have strong communication skills, a corporative and polite manner, and an eye for detail You will have the ability to work under pressure, flexibly and consistently You will be trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, and patient and continuingly striving for excellence You must be over the age of 18 as you will be required to serve drinks in the restaurant About our commitment to you Bespoke company induction and on-going training programmes at all levels Access to the best-in-class equipment and technology Custom-made uniforms provided And much more…… To find out more about KYN, our teams and values please visit www.kyn.co.uk/careers KYN is an equal opportunities employer.
