Endoscopy Waiting List Co-ordinator
About the Role
To work as part of a clerical team to support a defined team of clinicians within the Endoscopy Department at Northampton General Hospital.
Full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) is available within our dynamic team, welcoming candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a positive, can-do attitude.
The role involves providing efficient administrative and day-to-day support, ensuring seamless operations within Endoscopy.
Key Responsibilities

Inpatient Waiting List Management:
- Organise and manage inpatient waiting lists.

Appointment Booking & Enquiries:
- Book TCI appointments.
- Handle diverse enquiries from both patients and clinicians.

General Office Duties:
- Perform various departmental programmes and support tasks.

Pre-Op Clinic Administration:
- Manage the administration side of endoscopy pre-op clinics.

Team Coordination with Team Leader:
- Ensure daily booking of inpatient procedures.
- Chase and vet all consultant-requested procedures.

Cross-Cover Support:
- Provide cross-cover for other hospital teams during staff absences (as required by the admin team).

Additional Administrative Support:
- Designated duties to support the Endoscopy department.
