Salary & Hours

  • £16,000–£28,000 (average 35-hour contract; this role is for 20 hours per week)
  • Actual hourly rate: £15.45/hour
  • Employment type: Permanent

In this role, you’ll:

  • Quality Control – Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to meet or exceed expectations. Resolve issues promptly for customer satisfaction.
  • Logistics Management – Coordinate catering equipment setup, breakdown, and inventory for events. Ensure smooth flow of food, beverage service, and guest interactions.
  • Customer Service –
    • Build positive relationships with clients/guests.
    • Handle inquiries, dietary requests, and concerns with professionalism.
    • Solicit feedback to continuously improve services.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Ensuring food quality and presentation meet BaxterStorey’s high standards.
  • Overseeing logistics for events, including supply coordination and quick resolution of issues.
  • Ascertaining customer needs, from special dietary preferences to personal requests.
  • Supporting team collaboration while delivering outstanding service.
  • Contributing to the company’s continuous improvement through adaptability and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements & Qualifications
