Contract: Full time, permanent position
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Ward Clerk to join our Intensive Care Unit Team, with a salary up to £31,097.76 depending on experience. This is a Monday-Sunday role with shifts falling between the hours of 08:00 & 20:30 – flexibility is required in the postholder as the working hours/shift patterns depend on the needs of the department.

What will your duties include:
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, letter writing and dealing with telephone enquiries regarding all aspects of clinic activity.
- Communicate with wards and departments with regards to the transfer of patients with the aim to continually improve on session start and finish times and turn round between patients.
- Deal initially with any face to face or telephone complaints from patients or GPs and refer to advice as appropriate.
- Provide point of contact and service for patient’s families.
- Liaise with Concierge, GPs, Security and similar service support teams to provide a seamless experience for all.
- Update departmental time sheets and enter workforce hours on Kronos/Workday/relevant electronic system.

What we need from you:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly refined verbal communication skills – a communicator who can deal with patients and next of kin from all over the world
- Good keyboard and IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in a private hospital preferred
- Experience of dealing with members of the public / patient facing roles
