Join Our Guest Services Team at KIMS Hospital
KIMS Hospital, Maidstone, is Kent’s largest independent hospital, dedicated to providing exceptional care. We are looking for a compassionate and customer-focused Ward Host to enhance the patient experience in our Guest Services Team.
Your Role
As a Ward Host, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and comfortable environment for our patients. You will support meal service, assist with dietary requirements, and ensure patients feel cared for throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide menus, take meal orders, and assist with dietary and allergen-related queries.
- Work closely with ward and catering staff to prepare and deliver meals and beverages.
- Maintain high food hygiene standards and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Record food temperatures and follow food safety procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent patient care.

What We’re Looking For
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and caring approach.
- High standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable but not essential.
- A food hygiene qualification is beneficial but not required.
- A team player with attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
