About the Role

A new opportunity has arisen for a Ward Hostess/Host to join Medirest. We seek to welcome new members into our highly dedicated Patient Dining team, dedicated to delivering outstanding catering services.

As a Ward Hostess/Host, you would foster a warm and welcoming environment for patients. Each day is unique—by addressing nutrition and hydration needs, you can make a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide menus and take orders from patients, supporting dietary and allergen-related queries.
  • Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Clear down ward areas, including washing up dirty dishes, ensuring the kitchen is ready for the next service.
  • Liaise with ward staff to meet patient needs promptly.
  • Uphold exemplary customer service, putting patients first at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We seek candidates with:

  • A solid understanding of food & hygiene standards.
  • A passion for patient care and the ability to communicate clearly with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, effectively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence working in a hospital environment, with the ability to engage with potentially distressed patients.
  • A commitment to professional conduct and dedication to competing beyond job requirements.
  • This role requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check, with costs covered by the employer.

Part-Time Cook Role – Eurest

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting a keen Cook to join Eurest, working on a part-time basis (30 hours per week).

As a Cook, you’ll support our culinary team in preparing and serving delicious food. By aligning with dietary requirements and popular tastes, you’ll help keep clients and customers satisfied. This role offers the opportunity to advance your culinary career in a market-leading food service company.

  • Assist with kitchen organisation, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re seeking an individual with:

  • A passion for world-class food and customer service.
  • Experience in a similar culinary role is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication.
  • A solid understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene.
  • Adaptability and flexible workload management expertise.
