Job Opportunity: Experienced RMN Band 6 and Above
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for an experienced RMN Band 6 and above, to lead our Multi-Disciplinary Team on our adult acute inpatient ward.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and highly motivated nurse who is:
- Committed, caring, compassionate
- Good leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team
- Positive attitude to service developments and quality improvement
John Dickson Ward
John Dickson Ward is an 18-bedded male acute ward, currently based at Maudsley Hospital.
The multi-disciplinary team is dynamic and diverse, including RMNs, CSWs, an OT, doctors, and a consultant who work closely to support patients on their recovery journey. Patients also have access to psychology and involvement in various activities while on the ward.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operational management of the clinical area.
- Lead and effectively manage the ward nursing team.
- Ensure high standards of evidence-based, patient-centered care are maintained.
- Establish and maintain systems for clinical governance.
- Effectively and efficiently manage ward budget and resources.
- Promote good communication within the team and with external agencies.
