Wardrobe Assistant
Rainbow Productions Ltd are looking for an organised, practical, and hands-on Wardrobe Assistant to join our friendly Events team. You’ll work closely with the wardrobe team to prepare, maintain, and repair costumes for a variety of live costume character events.
This role would suit someone with a background or strong interest in costume, props, modelmaking, theatre, or similar creative fabrication. Previous wardrobe experience is welcome but not essential as training will be provided.

- Washing, drying, and organising mascot costumes and props
- Packing and unpacking costumes for events
- Checking, repairing, and maintaining costumes to a high standard
- Creating or adapting costume components when needed
- Keeping storage areas and the workspace tidy and well organised
- Responsibility of the admin in the Publishers section of wardrobe
About You
- Comfortable working hands-on with costumes and materials
- A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a small team
- A practical problem solver with attention to detail
- Reliable and able to commute to our South London workshop

Role Details
- Accountable to: Head of Events
- Location: South London SW19 (workshop-based role)
- Hours: Full Time (9am – 5.30pm)
- Salary: £28,000 per annum + discretionary management bonus
- Benefits: Pension
- Holiday: 20 days per year
- Probation: 6 months
- Role Commencement Date: Available immediately
