Wardrobe Assistant – Chessington World of Adventures Resort
Location: Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Leatherhead Road, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2NE
Contract: Fixed-term until 15th November 2026 Hours: Full-time, 5 days out of 7 (mandatory weekend availability)

The Wardrobe Assistant
Our 2026 Season is in full swing, and we are now recruiting for a reliable, organised, and enthusiastic Wardrobe Assistant with a positive attitude! This role is key to maintaining the high standards of our team uniforms and providing excellent support to across the resort.
Key Responsibilities
Uniform Management:
- Assist with the delivery, allotment, issuance, and retrieval of uniforms company-wide
- Wash, clean, and maintain returned uniforms while meeting hygiene standards
- Ensure timely laundry processing (including industrial machines) to support operational needs

Customer & Team Service:
- Serve at the uniform desk daily to resolve queries related to uniforms, minicards (***, ID checks), and inventory
- Support new hire inductions by distributing appropriate uniforms to staff
- Process terminations (returning uniforms and processing lost uniform charges)
Laundry & Maintenance:
- Perform daily laundry duties, assessing for stains/repair needs and sorting items
- Organise uniform racks for quick access and use
Resort-wide Compliance:
- Conduct bi-weekly uniform checks in the park and hotels to uphold appearance standards
- Assist with cleaning duties (dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, bin emptying) to ensure tidy workspace
What You’ll Bring

- Attention to detail – keeping uniforms pristine and well organised
- It's all hands on deck – from mopping floors to handling complex queries, you’d roll up your sleeves!
- Think in multi-task modes – the wardrobe position is an agile position for upskill or an experience within the team.
