Warehouse Administrator
Monday - Friday - 6am - 2.30pm
Salary - £27,060
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team at our brand new site in Castle Donington.
You will be responsible for all warehouse transactions into the business system, for receiving, locating and storage of products as well as the pulling of product for the Warehouse operations.
You will manage all deliveries, taking phone calls and bookings via email, liaising with drivers and working closely with the Warehouse Operational team.
Responsibilities
- Discharge duties in a safe manner in accordance with relevant legislation policies.
- Report hazards immediately.
- Use all equipment provided in accordance with safe working practices.
- Keep office and work area clear of boxes taking into consideration health and safety.
- Preparing Receiving sheets for the goods in operation.
- Deal with requests from customer services.
- Prepare despatch labels and paperwork where needed.
- To cover all office Administrative duties.
- To carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by Administration Manager or representative.
- Deal with any anomalies between Blue Yonder and SAGE.
- Deal with pack sizes, case quantities, checks made by the warehouse operatives.
- Generate reports for warehouse function as required.
- Maintain filing records.
- Raise notifications to suppliers on delivery discrepancies.
- Respond to e-mail requests in a timely manner.
- Answer phones and deal with the caller appropriately.
- General administrative duties – filing and photocopying.
- Checking paper/label levels and order stationary as required.
- Investigate account queries and resolve escalating issues to senior staff.
- Raise collections via 3rd party carriers.
- Chase uplifts of stock via supplier.
- Book supplier deliveries into diary.
- Request Advanced Shipping Notices.
- Deal with Inbound and Outbound delivery drivers and Mediq drivers – supporting the transport function including driver de-brief.

This role of Warehouse Administrator would be great if you have experience working in a Warehouse environment and experience using SAGE software. You will demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail, thoroughness, and a methodical approach to work.
