Warehouse Administrator – Skelmersdale | Full-Time Permanent Role

About the Role
Due to continued growth, our Skelmersdale site is now recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator on a full-time permanent basis.
- Salary: £14.46 per hour
- Hours: Monday–Friday shift rotation: 6am–2pm 2pm–10pm 10pm–6am
As the Warehouse Administrator, you will ensure timely and accurate handling of goods—tracking incoming vehicles, dispatching lorries, and managing all administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities

Vehicle & Despatch Operations:
- Deal with incoming vehicles and dispatch authorities.
- Daily contact with customers, hauliers, and drivers.

Customer Service & Communication:
- Primary point of contact for incoming phone enquiries.
- Prioritise customer satisfaction with ongoing updates to internal/external parties.

Systems & Operational Management:
- Proficiency in SAP systems and Vision (integrated management system) for day-to-day operations.
- Plan and execute activities efficiently within set KPIs.

Stock Control & Accuracy:
- Ensure stock inbound/outbound reconciliations align with IPS and customer system records.
- Monitor customer Ways of Working compliance, including timeframes for stocks reconciliations.

Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to health & safety protocols during duties.
- Maintain accurate inventory records to preempt discrepancies.
Requirements
- Tech Competency:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication (internally and externally).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Inclusive approach to problem-solving, analysis, and organisational skills.
- Experience & Attitude:
- Prior experience in admin or stock control.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time efficiently.
