Warehouse Administrator – Skelmersdale Site (Full-Time Permanent)

The Role

We’re expanding, and our Skelmersdale site is now recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator (permanent, full-time basis).

Salary & Working Hours

  • Salary: £14.46 per hour
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, rotating shifts across:
    • 6am–2pm
    • 2pm–10pm
    • 10pm–6am

Core Responsibilities

As Warehouse Administrator, you’ll ensure:

  • All goods in transit are accurately booked, tipped, and monitored
  • Administrative tasks are completed timely and efficiently
  • Daily coordination with customers, hauliers, and drivers

Key Duties:

  • Manage incoming vehicles and outgoing lorries
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls and customer/haulier interactions
  • Optimise internal systems:
    • SAP for customer management
    • Vision (integrated warehouse system) for daily operations
  • Deliver high-level customer service, liaising internally and externally
  • Maintain stock accuracy for both IPS and customer systems (inbound/outbound)
  • Adhere to health & safety protocols
  • Ensure full stock reconciliation across IPS and customer systems

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Digitally confident, with strong MS Office skills
  • Exceptional communication, balancing internal and external interactions
  • Sharp attention to detail and flexibility in roles
  • Problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Previous admin or stock control experience (advantageous)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time independently
