Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown’s sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.
Job Purpose
The Warehouse & Logistics Executive plays a key role in our retail team to ensure the products we hold in our warehouses is organised and maintained. This allows us to maximise sales and efficiently fulfil orders online and re-stock the shop floor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (KPIs)
Stock Management & Warehousing
- Assist the Warehouse & Logistics Manager in the daily management of stock control, adhering to stock control practices, carrying out counts, and counting deliveries.
- Ensure the stockroom is laid out as directed by the Warehouse & Logistics Manager with items placed logically and for ease of use by the wider retail team including casual retail assistants.
- Assist the Warehouse & Logistics Manager with a frequent stock take process.
- Receive deliveries of stock, counting in product to ensure no discrepancies with what items were expected and making the product available for sale in a timely manner.
- Clearly communicate deliveries with the wider Retail team to ensure the product is made available both in store and online.
- Ensuring barcodes are applied to all items and easily found for stock counts.
- Ensuring the stock counts are reflected in the retail software.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in all stock rooms

Sales Fulfilment and Sales Support
- Pick the online orders ensuring items are accurately picked and in a timely manner, with orders fulfilled without our delivery timeframes
- Work with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Store Manager and wider store team to ensure all products in all available sizes are displayed on the shop floor, helping to drive sales targets by promoting key products, seasonal merchandise and special promotions.
- Ensure sold stock is replenished swiftly.
- Working with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, Store Manager and wider store team to transition the store for matchdays, with different layouts and merchandise required for Bristol City Men, Bristol Bears Men, Bristol City Women and Non-Matchdays.
- Act as a keyholder and assume responsibility for opening and closing the store as needed.
- Work with the ecommerce Executive on new products being received to ensure they are able to be sold online swiftly and stock levels amended accordingly.

Essential
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably within a sports or fashion-related environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, and ability to maintain these to a high standard within a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Desirable
- Passion for sports and knowledge of Bristol Sport and its clubs is an advantage, but not essential.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days including evenings and weekends
Salary: £26,364 per annum
