The Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, client-focused relocation and removals business specialising in office and commercial relocations across Glasgow and the surrounding region. This is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of their operations — ideal for an experienced warehouse or operations manager who thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
You’ll take ownership of daily operational and warehouse activity, drive service excellence for major commercial clients, and act as deputy to the Head of Relocation Services — making this an excellent platform for someone with clear ambitions to step up.
- Lead all warehouse and operational activity across Glasgow, ensuring seamless delivery of office and commercial relocation projects.
- Manage storage, inventory, dispatch, and asset traceability to the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate schedules, resources, and diary management to meet fluctuating client demand across corporate accounts.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for key clients, ensuring service levels consistently exceed expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement in “white glove” service delivery — quality, flexibility, and client focus are non-negotiable.
- Use operational data and KPIs (utilisation, turnaround time, stock accuracy) to identify trends and lead improvements.
- Lead, coach, and develop your warehouse and operational team — building a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements across all warehouse and operational activity.
- Act as deputy to the Head of Relocation Services, providing cover and leadership support as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
