The Role:
As the Warehouse and Site Manager for County Supplies, you will lead a team to ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements. You will oversee stock integrity, drive operational performance, and work closely with internal stakeholders to support service delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring service standards, productivity targets, and stock accuracy are consistently achieved.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team through effective workforce planning, recruitment, training, performance management, and wellbeing support.
  • Drive operational efficiency by optimizing warehouse layouts, resources, and processes, while coordinating priorities with key internal stakeholders.
  • Take the lead on Health, Safety, and compliance across the site, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee site risk management, including audits, inspections, contractor management, incident investigations, facilities compliance, and business continuity planning.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering productivity, performance, and service targets within an operational environment. Experience managing warehouse operations would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience developing, motivating, and supporting teams to achieve their full potential.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Confident using operational data and systems to monitor performance, identify improvements, and drive operational efficiency.
  • An organized and proactive approach, with excellent communication skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for creating a positive and safe working environment.

Travel Requirements:
You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
