Role Overview

As a Warehouse and Yard Supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating transactions, managing materials, and overseeing warehouse and logistics operations. You will ensure the efficient processing, handling, and delivery of parts and equipment in line with service agreements and customer expectations, while supporting operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, coordinating, and overseeing warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Managing productivity, process quality, and warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Driving reduction of controllable expenses, including VCP and contract labor spend.
  • Overseeing logistics and shipping processes, including purchasing, receiving, and shipping activities.
  • Ensuring warehouse operations meet customer requirements, including managing contract labor workforce scope.
  • Coordinating communication between project managers, global supply chain teams, and logistics vendors.
  • Supporting the strategic planning of logistics for each project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Driving cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining safety and customer service standards.
  • Supporting departmental operational planning and suggesting improvements in products, processes, and procedures.
  • Working with business unit stakeholders to plan activities and address operational needs.
  • Applying standardized processes and guidelines, with flexibility in planning and execution where appropriate.
  • Managing operations within predefined contracts and frameworks, with some latitude for deviation when required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
  • Be able to work independently and manage operational priorities.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate operations across warehouse, logistics, and supply chain functions.
