We operate from our warehouse in Barcombe, East Sussex.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this is an exciting new role for a Warehouse Assistant to support the general operations of the warehouse.
You will carry out the daily warehousing activities, organising and maintaining inventory and the storage area across our warehouse and overflow unit. You will assist with the movement of stock and ensure accurate recording of goods in and out via an IMS (Inventory Management System).
This role will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Efficiently organise and maintain inventory in the main warehouse
- Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy
- Assist with movement of stock between units
- Accurately record goods in and out of the main and overflow warehouse
- Process goods in and goods out, reporting and helping to resolve issues
- Support warehouse efficiencies and continuous improvement
- Assist with maintaining regulatory compliance standards

WHO YOU ARE
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills / knowledge / experience:
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with exceptional accuracy when handling similar product names, codes and batch numbers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise, switch between multiple tasks and consistently see them through to completion while maintaining accuracy
- Solution-focused with the confidence to investigate and solve problems independently
- Able to comfortably and reliably commute to our warehouse in Lewes, East Sussex
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is advantageous but not essential
