Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Assistant/Driver, you’ll:

• Support branch operations by ensuring smooth customer deliveries, optimal warehouse layout, and adherence to safety, storage efficiency, and housekeeping standards.
• Load company vehicles efficiently to prevent stock damage and minimise delivery times, including cross-dock orders, while verifying parcel-to-delivery match accuracy before dispatch.
• Make safe deliveries, checking stock condition and obtaining a proof of delivery signature from the customer.
• Assist in order preparation, including picking, checking, and packing.
• Help with warehouse production tasks as instructed by management.
• Handle stock returns by verifying condition and signing for incoming returns.
• Complete daily/weekly paperwork for declarations and compliance.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, complying with all Health & Safety requirements and using correct manual handling techniques.
• Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
