About the Role

We are BSS, the UK’s largest distributor of pipeline and heating solutions. Backed by in-house technical teams and tool hire facilities across over 60 branches, we are supported by more than 1,240 colleagues.

Responsibilities

Here’s what the role requires of you:

  • Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines while processing stock and managing operations in the warehouse.
  • Provide the highest standards of customer service; fostering positive interactions that leave customers satisfied and rememberable.
  • Adaptability, multitasking, and organisational skills to thrive in fast-paced, ever-developing environments.
  • Support team members and colleagues across the broader branch as needed.
  • Contribute to accurate stock system entry, tracking, and order fulfilment.

To excel in this role, you should:

  • Be able to process stock while complying with all health and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate an ability to create best-in-class customer service through proactive and meaningful interactions.
  • Embrace self-motivation, multitasking, and organisational skills to thrive in a dynamic and adaptive environment.
  • Have no existing expertise in insulation or building products—our training on the job ensures everyone reaches essential standards.
  • Collaborate effortlessly as part of a team, willing to step outside your role to support others across the branch.
