Join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as a Warehouse Assistant based at the Neart na Gaoithe (NNG) Offshore Wind Farm in Eyemouth, Scotland, and play a key role in supporting the storage, logistics, and material control activities that keep our offshore operations running efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the renewable energy sector while ensuring critical tools, parts, and equipment are available to support safe and successful wind farm operations.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for managing stock movements, inventory control, logistics coordination, and warehouse activities in a fast-paced operational environment. You'll ensure all materials are accurately recorded, stored, packed, and dispatched while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. Working closely with operational teams, you'll help deliver an efficient service that supports turbine maintenance and offshore operations.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Ordering, receiving, picking, packing, issuing, and dispatching inventory while maintaining accurate and fully auditable records within SAP and paper-based systems
- Ensuring all stock movements are recorded and controlled in an accurate and compliant manner
- Completing export, import, and dangerous goods documentation in accordance with legislative requirements
- Preparing tools, equipment, and components for transport to offshore sites while meeting tight operational schedules
- Managing calibrated tools and maintaining control of safety equipment and specialist tooling
- Coordinating LOLER inspections and maintaining records for lifting equipment
- Conducting weekly, monthly, and annual inventory counts in line with company procedures
- Auditing inventory accuracy and supporting continuous improvement of warehouse processes
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment, including implementation of 5S standards
- Reporting warehouse audit findings and inventory performance to management
- Supporting effective logistics solutions for operational teams and internal customers
- Adapting quickly to changing priorities and operational requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ensuring compliance with all Siemens Gamesa safety procedures, standards, and policies

What You Bring
A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
Essential
- Good IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to work a shift pattern, including weekends, to support operational requirements
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of workload and responsibilities
Desirable
- Previous experience in stores, warehousing, logistics, or material control, ideally within Offshore Wind, Renewables, Marine, Engineering, or a similar operational environment
- Experience maintaining inventory records and stock control systems
- Knowledge of warehouse processes including goods receipt, dispatch, inventory management, and material handling
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems would be advantageous
- Understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse or operational environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Previous experience within the wind industry would be advantageous, although full training will be provided
- Current Forklift license and Driver’s License
About the Team
The Offshore Service team is responsible for maintaining and supporting Siemens Gamesa wind turbines throughout their operational lifecycle. Working from the NNG Offshore Wind Farm base in Eyemouth, the team delivers safe, efficient, and reliable service operations to maximise turbine performance and energy generation. Collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do as we contribute to the transition towards a sustainable energy future.
